Originally established in 1996 as the law firm of Aquino & Aquino, the firm has evolved into one of Southern California’s most respected and acclaimed immigration law firms.  As Aquino & Aquino, the father and daughter team of Atty. Paul Aquino and Atty. Allison Aquino-Silva gained notoriety for their unrelenting commitment to providing clients with honest, zealous, and personalized legal representation.  A distinguished attorney in the Philippines, Atty. Paul made the difficult migration from the Philippines to the United States with his family in 1976.  Atty. Paul quickly established a reputation as a stalwart leader in the Filipino community and is regarded as one of the Filipino legal pioneers in Southern California due to his decades of zealous and effective advocacy for his clients.

 

To carry on the tradition of honest and skillful legal representation, Atty. Allison Aquino-Silva partnered with her father in 1996.  Like her father, Atty. Allison rapidly emerged as one of the preeminent immigration attorneys in California. 

 

In 2000, Atty. Richard M. Loew joined the firm as an Associate Attorney.  Licensed as an attorney since 1990, Atty. Loew’s extensive experience in immigration law further strengthened the firm's ability to provide effective, quality legal representation.

After nearly ten years with Aquino & Aquino, Atty. Loew's integral role fostered the firm's transformation to Aquino & Loew upon Atty. Paul Aquino's departure in early 2010 to open his own personal injury law office.

Both Atty. Allison Aquino-Silva and Atty. Richard M. Loew are certified as Immigration Law Specialists by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization, an honor currently earned by only approximately 190 attorneys throughout the State of California.  Atty. Allison Aquino-Silva is believed to be the first, and remains one of the few, Filipino-American board certified immigration law specialists throughout California.
