07/28/20: Acting DHS Secretary Wolf issues a Memorandum calling for the rejection of new DACA applications and the shortening of the DACA period to one year. Read more here via CNN

08/31/20: The EOIR extends postponement of all non-detained immigration hearings in most courts nationwide,  thru 09/18/20.  This includes both master calendar hearings and individual merits hearings at Courts that have not announced opening dates. Courts that already announced openings will not close. Most courts remain open to receive filings. 

7/14/20: DHS agrees to rescind rule regarding limiting international students' online classes.  Policy issued on July 6 and FAQ issued on July 7 will be rescinded. Via ABC7 Eyewitness News

06/22/20: The President has issued a Proclamation extending the suspension the entry of most immigrant visa holders until December 31, 2020.  The Proclamation additionally suspends issuance of H1-b, H2-b, J, and L nonimmigrant visas until the end of the year as well.  Via CBS News. 

06/04/20:  USCIS is partially resuming services starting June 4, 2020 after suspending all in-person contacts due to Coronavirus.  Citizenship interviews and Citizenship Oath ceremonies will be the first to resume.  No indication from USCIS when adjustment of status adjudications or and interviews will resume.
08/31/20: The EOIR will resume all non-detained immigration hearings in Los Angeles and Van Nuys Immigration Courts on 09/21/20.
